Maybe he had known that girl, he thought. Maybe it was something he’d forgotten - who remembered the friends you had in kindergarten?

- for Esther

weliveandbreathewords:

He touched the edge of her hair with light fingers. “Magnus tells me I was a hero,” he said. “And I see on your face when you’re looking at me that you’re searching for that guy. The guy you knew who was a hero, who did great things. I don’t remember doing those things. I don’t know if that makes me not a hero anymore. But I’d like to try to be that guy again. That guy who gets to kiss you because he earned it. If you’ll be patient enough to let me try.”

I WILL MOURN SEBBY WITH YOU!!!

Ayyy, seeing as this sent twice I am pretty sure you will be mourning Sebastian with me.

But, omfg, i just need to get this out.

You absolutely have no idea how disappointed I was when he died. And I was completely stunned when he didn’t use the Dark Cup on Clary. It was so obvious. Just turn her so she stays by your side.

I mean, yes, she won’t have true feelings for him. She wouldn’t ever, that was obvious. Even she had agreed to stay in Edom, for real, she wouldn’t love him truly. So the least he could of done was made her drink out of it. But, he obviously is (was *sob*) Valentine’s son and wanted to conquer her.

Nonetheless, I think it would have made CoHF overall even more interesting if she was turned and the rest of the shadowhunters were sent back to Idris without her. The Shadowhunters looking for a cure for Clary while she’s stuck in Edom, cut off from everyone; slowly turning darker and darker. I don’t know okay like I can imagine it and then the they summon Magnus’ dad, bc he’s the only force who can help them and asdfghjkl;’.

But, once more, I was severely let down when he died such a foreseen death. Killed by the heavenly fire, blah, blah, blah. Whatever. If he had to die, I wished he would die evil. Not turn into some mellow guy at the end.

I would have preferred if he hadn’t died at all. It would of been interesting see him turn into the green eyed Jonathan. But, I do sort of understand that this was the end of the series, and Cassandra Clare had to tie it up somehow. That would of just left more holes in the plot and questions to be answered.

I don’t know, these are just my feelings. Keep in mind, I adore Sebastian. Behind the well written villain, I see a boy who never lived. And never will.
